![]() ![]() Especially exciting during the fall, but beautiful any time of year, the Viewing Platform trail in Tsútswecw Provincial Park allows everyone to enjoy the spawning of the salmon. Follow this for 0.4km until you reach the salmon spawning viewing platform that overlooks the Adams River.Įvery fourth year (October 2022), over 2 million sockeye salmon return to spawn in the Adams River. From the parking area head to the right of the interpretive building (heading left takes you to the Story Trail) and continue down the 2m wide, paved trail. During the peak salmon run years, additional parking is available. ![]() Park in the parking area at Tsútswecw (pronounced choo-chwek) Provincial Park. Turn right onto Squilax-Anglemont Rd and head over the bridge. ![]() Head East along the Trans-Canada Hwy. Continue on the highway for about 65kms. To get there: This hike is about an hour’s drive from Kamloops. Highlight: Wheelchair accessible and perfect spot to watch the salmon spawning in the fall ![]()
