![]() It only has the 16 pin OBDII connector under the dash but for whatever reason, when using the carsoft interface I had to tell the software I was using an ADS interface. There's no 20 pin ADS connector under the hood on my car. One thing I've always wondered about the carsoft interface was why it would only work if the software was setup for an ADS interface. It all worked fine (even with 32 bit Windows 7). I've set up door locks, daytime running lights, lock/unlock chirps, etc. I've had great success using INPA and NCS Expert on my 2001 530i (E39) using a carsoft interface (bought from kecool about a year ago). This is a bit long so I hope you experts and soon to be experts have the patience to read through it. ![]()
